Transferring to a Pennsylvania State-Related University

The Commonwealth has four state-related universities that have varying levels of participation in the statewide transfer system and PA TRAC.

Lincoln University has elected to participate fully in the transfer system and is considered a "participating PA TRAC college". That means students can use the PA TRAC website to find transferable courses and degree programs, to learn about Lincoln's transfer admissions process, and much more.

PSU, Temple and Pitt  meet the minimum legislative requirements for state-related universities. Each has identified at least 30 credits from the 30-Credit Transfer Framework that they will accept for transfer from each of the fully participating PA TRAC colleges.

Use the above links to learn more about each university and their respective transfer admissions and transfer credit policies.

30-Credit Transfer Framework

Courses listed in the 30-Credit Transfer Framework represent the type of coursework generally completed during the first and second year of a bachelor degree program. These courses are good choices for students who are undecided about the major they wish to pursue or the college where they plan to transfer.
