  This course is designed to provide the school health education candidate with the knowledge, dispositions and skills to assess the impact of health education on PK-12 student learning. Various types and methods of student assessment will be explored and practiced to create a learning environment that is supportive for all student success. The candidate will be provided the opportunity to participate in a professional development school experience to demonstrate assessment skills. Prerequisite:    HLTH461

Focus of the course will be on the development of guidelines for utilization of these services.
