  Radiographic Procedures III is designed to provide the knowledge base necessary to perform radiographic procedures of the cranium, sinuses, facial bones, and contrast media studies. This course combines didactic coursework and laboratory simulation. The laboratory portion of the course gives the student opportunity to practice and demonstrate their proficiency.   This course provides the basic concepts of patient care as well as ethical and legal considerations, radiation protection and the responsibilities for protecting patients, public, and personnel. Students review basic concepts of venipuncture, administration of contrast and agents and discuss the appropriate delivery of patient care during contrast procedures. Prerequisite:    Admission to the Computed Tomography program
