  • This course presents cognitive, behavioral, and affective theories of development and their relevance in academic settings. Emphasis is on the importance of understanding multicultural and humanistic issues to maximize academic development. Exceptional populations and non-traditional testing techniques and alternate methods of student and teacher evaluation will be discussed, including their strengths and weaknesses in academic settings.
