The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. Other factors to consider are grades received in the courses, the year in which the course was taken, and the major pursued after transfer. In all instances, final decisions about acceptance of course credit will be made by Luzerne County Community College.

If you complete the following with AP - Advanced Placement:

  • Students who enroll in AP French Language should already have a good command of French grammar and vocabulary and have competence in listening, reading, speaking, and writing. Although these qualifications may be attained in a variety of ways, it is assumed that most students will be in the final stages of their secondary school training and will have had substantial course work in the language.

You may receive up to 3.00 credits at Luzerne County Community College:

  • The first course for students beginning the study of French; the elements of grammar and reading, drill in vocabulary, pronunciation, diction and graded readings are studied.
