The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following with AP - Advanced Placement:

  • This course is designed to be the equivalent of the general chemistry course usually taken during the first college year. For some students, this course enables them to undertake, as freshmen, second-year work in the chemistry sequence at their institution or to register for courses in other fields where general chemistry is a prerequisite. For other students, the AP Chemistry course fulfills the laboratory science requirement and frees time for other courses.

You may receive up to 4.00 credits at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania:

  • This course covers the basic principles of chemistry, including modern atomic structure and bonding, chemical equations, solubility and descriptive inorganic chemistry. Pre-Requisite: One year of HS Chemistry or equivalent. (Natural Science General Education Course). OR The distance Learning version of SCH111 General Chemistry I to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside the classroom. Pre-Requisite: One year of HS Chemistry or equivalent).
