This courses discusses religious upheavals, global exploration and colonization, the Enlightenment and its revolutions, industrialization, the formation of Nation-States, the World Wars, the Atomic Age, and the future of the west. Special attention is paid to the significant people and the events they were part of that demonstrate how their influence impacted history on a global perspective. (S&BS)
