Students are able to identify the core reasons people avoid difficult conversations; are taught preventive measures to build trust and create a foundation for honest/calm dialogue; explore follow-up actions that focus on resolution and continued conversation. This course is designed to allow students practice the techniques taught in the course and engage in a series of evenly-paced sessions facilitated by a highly qualified instructor in a personalized setting. CASP is a vendor-neutral credential and internationally recognized as validating an advanced-level security skills and knowledge. The CASP exam certifies the individual has the technical knowledge and skills required to conceptualize, engineer, integrate and implement secure solutions across complex environments. Preparation topics include the application of critical thinking and judgement across a broad spectrum of security disciplines to propose and implement sustainable security solutions that map to organizational strategies, translate business needs into security requirements, analyze risk impacts and respond to security incidents. While there is no required prerequisite, the CASP certification is intended to follow CompTIA Security+ or equivalent experience and has a technical, "hands-on" focus at the enterprise level.

    This class will immerse the student into an interactive environment where they will be shown how to scan , test, hack and secure their own systems. Topic content gives each student in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and then be led into scanning and attacking their own networks, no real network is harmed. Students then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system. Students will also learn about Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. When a student leaves this intensive class, they will have hands on understanding of the current elements involved in ethical hacking.
