For more than 56 years, Montgomery County Community College has grown with the community to meet the evolving educational needs of Montgomery County. The College’s comprehensive curriculum includes more than 100 associate degree and certificate programs, over 30 transfer partners, and many customized workforce training and certifications. Students enjoy the flexibility of learning at the College’s thriving campuses in Blue Bell and Pottstown, at the Culinary Arts Institute in Lansdale and online.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Require C or better earned from institutions accredited by the Regional Accrediting Associations of Colleges and Secondary Schools. No credit is given for science, math or computer courses completed more than 5 years before the admission date.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    In accordance with our Transfer of Credit Policy, students can transfer up to 75% of credits (e.g., 45 of 60) required for an associate’s degree. Students must complete 25% (e.g., 15 of 60) of the required degree coursework at Montco.
