For more than 60 years, Montgomery County Community College has grown with the community to meet the evolving educational needs of Montgomery County. Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Require C or better earned from institutions accredited by the Regional Accrediting Associations of Colleges and Secondary Schools. No credit is given for science, math or computer courses completed more than 5 years before the admission date.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    In accordance with our Transfer of Credit Policy, students can transfer up to 75% of credits (e.g., 45 of 60) required for an associate’s degree. Students must complete 25% (e.g., 15 of 60) of the required degree coursework at Montco.
