Students will write and revise a variety of expository documents using the traditional techniques of effective written communication. This course includes an introduction to the library and its resources so that students will learn to identify research topics and credible sources, gather and record information, and integrate research into a cohesive argument using correct citation style.   • This course moves the student from writing basic papers to engaging in scholarly dialogue through critical thinking, reading, and writing. Students will develop evaluative, analytical, and rhetorical skills through focused discussions, presentations and a variety of research-based papers. The distance Learning version of HEN113 English II to be offered as an "On-line" course in which more than 80% of the instruction will be completed outside of the classroom.
