  • Introduction to Information Technology introduces concepts and practical applications related to current technology. Changing global and personal growth patterns are examined along with ethical issues, security, and privacy concerns. Professional communication is stressed as students learn skills using Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (MI) are examined in educational and professional settings. Honors Option Available Introduction to Information Technology honors introduces concepts related to global computing concepts together with MicroSoft Office to develop documents, spreadsheets, databases and presentations. Through a series of projects students will learn how to develop integrated applications correlated other honors courses. 3-0-3
