The information presented is an unofficial guide to how courses may transfer. If you complete the following with AP - Advanced Placement:

  • This course is designed to be the equivalent of a college introductory biology course usually taken by biology majors during their first year. Some AP students, as college freshmen, are permitted to undertake upper-level courses in biology or to register for courses for which biology is a prerequisite. Other students may have fulfilled a basic requirement for a laboratory science course and will be able to undertake other courses to pursue their majors.

You may receive up to 4.00 credits at Community College of Beaver County:

  • This course provides lecture and lab experience for non-science majors through a survey of the Biological Sciences, with emphasis on Reproductioin, Environmental Biology, Human Genetics, Evolution, and Anatomical Systems. Individualized instructional techniques will be incorporated into the course. No prior science background is required. (3-2-4) Honors Option Available Honor students will have additional exercises that relate to internationalization/globalization to meet the honors requirement. (3-2-4)
