Students will review policies and position statements issued by the NATA, NCAA, ACSM, AAP, and AMA regarding prevention, evaluation, and management of acute athletic injuries and illnesses.

  • The various types of injuries that occur in athletics are discussed with regard to causative factors, frequency, location and relationship to specific sports.
