Description:
This course will focus on discussions of contemporary research in the health sciences and health program evaluations. It introduces students to the development of structured questions to guide inquiry, bibliographic research to set inquiry in the context of the work of other scholars, and exposes students to differences in research methods and design. At the end of the course, students will have the advanced skills needed for the development of their own topic and interest specific research proposal. Prerequisite: Admission into the Doctorate of Health Science in Health Sciences program.
