First semester topics include stoichiometry, atomic structure, thermochemistry, molecular bonding, states of matter, solutions, and kinetics. Second semester topics include equilibrium, thermodynamics, nuclear and electro-chemistry, coordination compounds, and a brief introduction to organic chemistry and biochemistry.
