This course is designed to develop an understanding of the fundamental principles of scientific investigation. The basis of study design, methods of data collection and analysis, interpretation of data, and the significance of conclusions to nursing theory and nursing practice are considered. Students will have guided experience in the evaluation and utilization of nursing research. This course is open only to students accepted into the Nursing program.
