Description:
Nursing care for clients/families experiencing common health alterations across the lifespan in a variety of settings continue to be examined in depth. Students synthesize and integrate knowledge, skills, and abilities to evaluate and modify a plan of care; to independently plan, implement, and evaluate the delivery of safe and effective care; to facilitate physiological and psychosocial function; to assist client/family coping; to maximize self-care; and to promote optimal functioning. Concepts of management are further developed through collaboration with members of the health care team.
