  Introduces unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and their applications within the fields of environmental, geographical and geological sciences. Course topics include operations with fixed-wing and rotor-based unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), hardware/software command and control systems, geographic information system (GIS) analysis, the basics of flight, regulations, and safety.
