Focuses on key cultural transitions in human history including the earliest humans, their colonization of the globe, origins of food production, and the first cities and states. Students will learn how race, sex, age, stature, and trauma are determined from the human skeleton. Special attention will be paid to the cause and manner of death in fleshed bodies so that students will take away a general knowledge of forensic pathology.
