Provides an introductory course integrating the structure and function of the human body. This portion covers: endocrine system, blood and defense mechanisms, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, digestive system, metabolism, nutrition, urinary system, fluid and electrolyte balance, reproductive system, and growth and development. This course is a required course for majors in Exercise Science, Nursing, Health Science, and Medical Imaging. Three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory per week.
