The course emphasizes professional communication in the fields of business, law, and medicine. Russian language is taught in its cultural contexts, including history, culture, diversity, and comparison with students? native cultures. The course develops communicative language proficiency at the Intermediate-Mid and Intermediate-High sublevels (according to ACTFL proficiency scale). Prerequisite:    RUSS203 OR RUSS204
