This course examines environmental sustainability through the interconnected lenses of social equity, economic vitality, and environmental protection. Students will identify solutions for unsustainable patterns and develop innovative thinking skills related to resource consumption, biodiversity conservation, human health and education, environmental justice, and the sustainable balance of all involved. Attention to these factors paves the way for humans and the environment and economy to thrive together rather than compete or merely survive.
