This course is a full-time, 12-week structured work experience at a department-approved criminal justice agency under the joint supervision of a faculty instructor and an agency supervisor. In addition to working with the agency, this course requires the completion of five (5) bi-weekly reports (assigned by the instructor), a site visit, and an agency supervisor evaluation of the student's work performance.
Prerequisite:
CRJ 490 requires prerequisites of 72 earned credits, a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0, and a C or better in CRJ 300 and CRJ 387.
