Provides a basic understanding of key financial terms and concepts, as well as potential tools and tactics that a supervisor can use to build strategic awareness of elements such as inventory management, rework, and staff planning in their daily responsibilities. The outcome of this training is to produce well rounded supervisors, or leaders, who can recognize the impact their actions and decision have on both the financial health of their respective departments and the organization???s bottom line. The course is structured to allow students the ability to explore several topic areas, which cumulatively build on the weeks prior, to create additional understanding and connections to an organization???s ??big picture?? strategy, vision and goals. Using a blended format of in-person instruction (remote facilitator unless otherwise noted) and online resources and activities, this series provides a solid framework and foundation established leadership skills. Typical in-person sessions are approximately 2.5 hours (including appropriate break sessions) that can be presented in-person or via Zoom platform and are held one to two times a week. All course materials are presented by HACC instructors, who are highly qualified individuals, possessing a combination of professional industry experience, certifications and education for engaging interactions and professional facilitation of the course.
