This course covers such topics as the use of using discrete Input/Output (I/O), timers, counters, and sequencers to control automated systems for manufacturing applications with the focus of instruction being on Allen Bradley PLC's using AB software. Laboratory activities include wiring control circuits that use sensor technology, tuning Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) loops, and programming controllers. A course fee is required.
