    Integrate and demonstrate competence in several areas including care of critically ill patients, floor therapy, endotracheal intubations, arterial blood gas and pulmonary function labs, and assisting physicians with bronchoscopy. Speciality rotations include neonatal ICU, PICU, and physician rounds. The student will develop behaviors consistent with professional expectations of the registered respiratory therapist.

Introduces students to features of Russian and Slavic cultures that are associated with the targeted communicative activities.

A communicative method is applied to develop the four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) in an intercultural content. This includes the use of authentic audio-visual materials introducing the Russian-speaking world, situational communicative practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing, and laboratory activities.
