This course integrates lighting practices for scene and animation along with animation terminology. Students are also introduced to plugins and preset practices often utilized by 3D programs.     In this course, students implement skills developed to create a full multimedia sports broadcast event. Students practice management skills and develop multimedia productions applicable in different markets utilizing industry-standard software and practices. Throughout the course, students also gain experience with the different roles involved in multimedia campaigns including project management, social media, content expertise and design.

    This course provides students with the experience of industry-standard project design and development. Students work in teams to develop a video game from pre-production through the post-production phases for their portfolios. During the course, industry software and practices are reviewed and implemented into the overall experience. At the end of the course, students pitch their product to potential clients. This course is to be taken in final spring semester of study. Prerequisite:    Students must complete all MMC and CIT program requirements.

    This course offers comprehensive backflow prevention and testing training, adhering to the international standards of American Society of Sanitary Engineers (ASSE). Students engage in laboratory exercises to test and observe backflow prevention devices, exploring the historical development, correction methods and various types of cross-connections. Completion of this course prepares students to earn the ASSE Backflow Tester Certification.

    This advanced course is taught by an ASSE Certified instructor to prepare ASSE Testers for ASSE repair certification of backflow devices that protect the public water system. The hands-on portion includes testing and repairs of spill-resistant pressure vacuum breakers, as well as larger sized double-check, reduced pressure, and pressure vacuum breaker assemblies. Testing of cross-connection control theory and regulations will be reviewed, as well as installation and testing procedures of four assembly types. Troubleshooting of malfunctioning valves are discussed. ASSE's repair certification must be renewed every three years. Repair Certification automatically renews ASSE Tester Certification for three years. The hands-on and written tests are conducted by an ASSE certified proctor following the conclusion of this course.     This Backflow Testers Re-certification course updates student knowledge and skills on the latest industry procedures and regulations for testing backflow assemblies. Students practice and are evaluated on testing a variety of backflow assemblies. Re-certification is required every three years to maintain ASSE Tester Certification. Prerequisite:    ASSE backflow tester certification or other approved backflow tester certification that is within 6 months of the stated expiration date.

    This is a course in medical magnetic imaging for certified technologists. Included are a history of magnetic imaging in radiology sciences, advanced principles of image reconstruction for human anatomy utilizing radiographic magnetic resonance techniques, essential elements of medical magnet computer systems, patient positioning for scanning protocols and data acquisition systematic procedures.
