In this course, students evaluate their own physical fitness status. With the help of the instructor, students design a physical conditioning program to meet personal goals and interests. Areas of concentration are cardiovascular endurance, flexibility, body composition, muscular strength and muscular endurance. Activities selected involve aerobic, resistive and flexibility exercises. This course emphasizes proper techniques, purpose of each exercise, safety and how to get expected results from an individualized physical conditioning program.
