Students review essential grammar concepts from lower-level courses and are introduced to more complex grammatical structures. Throughout the course, students continue strengthening their listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities in Spanish. A significant focus is placed on cultural learning, as students explore and expand their understanding of diverse Spanish-speaking cultures. The goal is for students to progress their communication proficiency and cultural knowledge. It is recommended that within one academic year of completing this course, students enroll in the next level Spanish course (SPA 202) to maintain and augment their skills at the intermediate level.
