This course incorporates radiation health and safety requirements with those of the federal and state regulatory agencies, accreditation agencies, and health care organizations. An overview of the principles involved in the interaction of radiation with living systems is also discussed, as well as the radiation effects on molecules, cells, tissues and the body as a whole.
