TAOC has created 6 Equivalency Standards that have been developed, reviewed, and approved by the Transfer and Articulation Oversight Committee as established in HB185. These standards are not the only criteria for reviewing courses; factors such as course level, course assignments and existing equivalency agreements are examples of other factors that TAOC may take into account in determining whether a course meets equivalency standards. The Standards presented here are intended to serve as guidelines for the work of TAOC as it moves towards determining which courses in each category meet the criteria established by the Committee.
