Description:
Studies blood-group antigens and antibodies of the human body. In addition, this course emphasizes laboratory procedures for typing, compatibility testing, donor screenings, and the processing of blood. Enrollment is restricted to students in the Medical Laboratory Technician AS program. Non-majors need permission of the Program Director. A course fee is required. Prerequisite: MLT 100, 120, 122, and 220 with grades of C or higher.
