Description:
Is intended for students who desire an introduction to chemistry, or who are required to take a course that updates their knowledge of chemistry. This course stresses the fundamentals of atomic and molecular structure, bonding, solutions, acids and bases, chemical nomenclature, and stoichemistry. A course fee is required. Prerequisite: MATH 033, 044, & 055 (or MATH 051); ENGL 003, 007, or 057 with grades of C or higher when identified by the College Placement & Testing Program. (SCI/LAB)
