Description:
Explores the function of the human body under the stress of acute and chronic physical activity. Laboratory exercises will be used to aid in student comprehension. Concepts relating to energy metabolism, neuromuscular, circulatory, and cardiorespiratory physiology are addressed in both lecture and laboratory experiences which include theoretical and practical applications to exercise. This course is intended to develop a student's understanding of how exercise impacts a number of body systems.
