Applies knowledge and concepts obtained throughout the program while gaining entry-level competence in the clinical area. Both clinical and professional role issues are examined. Clinical issues will include management of complex patients. Professional issues will include assessment of organizations as practice settings, quality of care and risk management, and professional responsibilities of safe practice. The focus of the course throughout is on developing confidence and competence as an advanced practice nurse.
