Examines aspects of programming essential to the provision of inclusive sport and recreation opportunity. An analysis of societal and personal attitudes/bias toward disability and people with disabilities and the impact on sport, recreation and community involvement is central to the course. An examination of opportunities in recreation and sport includes a review of advocacy efforts, advancement in opportunities, and legislation that has led to a significant evolution in the quality of experiences.
