This course prepares students interested in health careers to achieve the most competitive application for admission as is possible by the individual student. Students participate in educational sessions that prepare them for standardized pre-entrance exams required for matriculation into health care programs including radiologic technology, associate degree in nursing and practical nursing programs at Community College of Beaver County and other institutions of higher learning. This course provides a general overview of topics covered on the standardized exams and basic testing strategies. Students learn how to navigate the college system to complete the admissions process and prepare for exams by analyzing questions. 1-0-1
