Introduction to intermediary study using Adobe Photoshop for print, multimedia, information design and Web page images. Learn to use color scanners and color editing, retouching and manipulation techniques, and production and creative technologies and filters to produce creative, sofphisticated digital images for inclusion in other prodgrams with emphasis on color modes, image resolution and file size. Technical concerns, compatibility across Macintosh and Windows platforms, aesthetic and legal issues for digital arts, and emerging technologies are explored.
