Offers development of skills necessary for writing effectively. Includes instruction in pre-writing, writing, revising, editing, and proofreading. In addition to assignments on vocabulary, sentence structure, mechanics, and usage, students will work on writing effective paragraphs and compositions. A documented essay is the final project. Required of students who exhibit need of preparation for ENG114.
