Develops the ability to understand and analyze how forecasts for the economy, stock market, industries, and companies are used in a traditional fundamental analysis approach to investing. Enables students to calculate and interpret the return and risk measures for investment instruments (e.g., bond, preferred stock, and common stock). If perequisites courses are not met department chair approval is required.
