The purpose of this course is to understand the cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social factors that affect injury, rehabilitation, and return to activity. Theory and research will be examined to understand these psychological factors and to learn how to improve the rehabilitation process. Students will also learn about qualitative research methodologies and conduct a qualitative investigation. This class is not available for graduate credit.
