EXER 395 - Internship in Allied Health Setting

Students will complete an observational, practical, and/or research-based learning experience in their choice of an allied health, rehabilitation, or medical setting. This will allow students to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained from their coursework to a real world experience in a professional setting that supports their career goals. Internship placements must be approved by an academic advisor. The Exercise Science Department will schedule students into their internship only when all required paperwork is completed. At least 3 credits are required for the major; additional credits may count towards major elective or free elective credits. Prerequisites: EXER 150 with a C or better; at least two other Exercise Science courses completed with a C or better; 42 credits completed; and a GPA of 2.5.
