Provides algebraic background knowledge necessary for success in MATH 175 - Precalculus or MATH 181 - Applied Calculus. Studies algebraic expressions; linear and quadratic equations, functions and graphs; polynomial functions; rational functions; exponential and logarithmic functions; and systems of equations. Not open to students who have successfully (C or better) completed MATH175, MATH 181, or MATH 211.
