Explores the theory and philosophy of promotion as it pertains to public relations. Examines basic quantitative and qualitative research methods (survey, content analysis, focus group, etc.) that can be used effectively to design a campaign plan. Explores the various components of a public relations campaign plan, which students will draw upon to produce a public relations campaign for a corporation or non-profit organization. This plan will be the assessment vehicle for professional performance in the PR emphasis. Not open to graduate students. This class is not available for graduate credit.
