Continuation of Modern Organic Chemistry I and includes reactions and synthesis of the principle classes of organic compounds with an emphasis on application of mechanistic reasoning to the classification of organic reactions, further applications of spectroscopy to structure determination and mechanistic studies, and consideration of examples taken from the physical and life sciences.
