This course covers the application and use of ultrasound in the imaging of advanced and non-traditional vascular pathology encountered in a clinical setting. The course incudes analysis and critique of published journal reviews with an emphasis placed on written communication through research, preparation of a literature review and thesis, and the development of a paper to be shared with peers. Recent applications, skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student will be examined. This is a writing intensive course. Restricted to DMS students.
