Description:
This course provides students a foundation covering electrical fundamentals. Students will gain knowledge in the following topics; electrical concepts, EMF, current, resistance, power, AC/DC series and parallel circuit operation and analysis, inductance, capacitance, meter usage, schematics, and circuit component operation. The students' training will be demonstrated through various hands-on labs and exercises. Math applications will be reviewed and applied solving fundamental electrical calculations. Appropriate safety standards will be followed as well as proper use of hand tools and equipment. Also available through Online Learning. Additional course fees $20.00.
