This course covers topics such as: conceptual, logical and physical data models; relational database and relational algebra; building and mapping entity relationship diagrams (ERDs); normalization; basic and advanced Structured Query Language (SQL) for data retrieval and manipulation; functions, triggers, and procedures; transactions and concurrency control; security, backup, and recovery procedures.
