This course will focus on developing unconventional and alternative methods of media for the video and photography industry. Students will focus on creating different types of promotional materials using guerrilla-style strategies in areas such as the environment, journalistic style, social media campaigns and commercial branding. Students will demonstrate the skills necessary to use different types of media equipment such as portable high-resolution cameras, aerial drones, action cameras, portable sliders, 360 devices, and various hand-held gimbals.
