Concepts of Community Health Nursing with an emphasis on health promotion and evidence-based practices will be discussed in this course. The course will explore health care economics, informatics, policy, and leadership. Students will use an epidemiological approach to assess community healthe and identify determinates of healthe within a community which may place individuals at risk for disease, disability, and premature death.
